As seen in the Email Notifications guide, each form has its own setting and preferences which can be configured as needed. These setting are divided on two different menus, the General and Form menus which can be found when accessing the Easy Forms area of the Dashboard.
To access these areas:
- From the Dashboard, click Easy Forms
General Settings
The General Settings page contains information that is typically entered when initially creating a form.
- By default you should first land on the General settings area when accessing the easy forms, if not, click General from the sub-menu bar near the top of the page
Settings that can be configured here include:
- Title - This title will appear to users above your form
- Administrative Description - This description is for dashboard use only. Users will not see the text entered into this field
- Archive this Easy Form - When this option is enabled, the form will be closed and unavailable
- Ignore Disabled results warning - When this option is enabled, all warnings and log messages will not be shown
- Easy Form URL Alias - Set an Alias that you can use to link to the form or users can navigate directly by entering the URL into the address bar of their browser
- Confirmation Page URL Alias - Set an Alias that you can use to link to the form's confirmation page, or users can navigate directly by entering the URL into the address bar of their browser
Form Settings
The Form settings area manages form messages relating to the easy form.
- Access this area by clicking Form in the sub-menu bar near the top of the screen.
Settings that can be configured here include:
- Form Status - Choose whether the Easy form is Open (visible to users), Closed, or Scheduled. When Scheduled is selected, you will be prompted to enter an Open and/or Close Date if applicable
- Form Open Message - If a form is set to Scheduled, the text entered into this field will appear in place of the form until the scheduled open date has passed
- Form Closed Message - The text entered into this field will display when the form breaks
- Form Exception Message - This description is for dashboard use only. Users will not see the text entered into this field
