Landing pages can contain a wide range of content, as such organizations may have multiple landing pages with varied content. The following instructions explain how to navigate to specific landing pages for the purpose of adding, editing, or removing content:
Accessing a Landing Page
- From the Dashboard, click Landing Pages
- Find the page by
- Browsing the list; or
- Searching the name of the landing page
- Once found, click the Title
- This will take you to the landing page's front-end view
- Click the Layout tab, located just above the landing page title
From the layout editor you can begin to modify the layout and content of the page, this can include:
- Adding new sections and content blocks
- Editing or removing content, sections, and content blocks
- Page styling
Adding Sections
Administrators have complete control over the look, layout and content of a landing page. Before adding the actual content that will appear on the page, create sections where the content will exist. Sections can be configured to appear as one, two, or three column layouts; once this has been configured, content blocks can be added to display the final content for the page.
- Click the nearest dotted outline, then click +Add section
- An option slider will appear on the right
- Select from the One column, Two column, or Three column layout options
- Modify the Column widths if needed
- Administrative label - add a label that will appear in the top left corner of the section when viewing the page in this layout viewer. This can be a benefit for other administrators to understand how the page was built
- Click Add section
- Select from the One column, Two column, or Three column layout options
- An option slider will appear on the right
- Click Save layout, located at the top of the page (just below the page title)
Add a Content Block to a Section
Once section(s) have been added to your page you may begin to add content, this can be in the form of callouts, custom blocks, feeds, easy forms, locations and hours, news articles, and bento blocks.
- Click the nearest dotted outline in the Section, then click +Add block
- An option slider will appear on the right
- Click the content type to add, for example:
- To add a Custom block, scroll to the Custom Block area, below the title will be a list of previous created custom blocks. Click the custom block to add to the page
- Heading - add a title for the custom block, this will be visible to people viewing the page.
- While this field is required, you can choose to hide this from view by clicking the eyeball icon to the right of the field
- Helper Text - add a brief description or guiding text to inform users of what or how to interact with the content
- Subheading - add a subheading if necessary
- Additional fields may also be present depending on the feature being add, for example, when adding a slider you can also choose from either a large slider or mini slider. Complete any remaining fields or selections as needed
- Heading - add a title for the custom block, this will be visible to people viewing the page.
- Click Add block
- To add a Custom block, scroll to the Custom Block area, below the title will be a list of previous created custom blocks. Click the custom block to add to the page
- Click the content type to add, for example:
- An option slider will appear on the right
- Click Save layout, located at the top of the page (just below the page title)
