Adding Sections and Content Blocks
Adding Sections
Administrators have complete control over the look, layout and content of a landing page. Before adding the actual content that will appear on the page, create sections with the appropriate column configuration for where the content will exist.
Sections can be configured to appear as one, two, or three column layouts; once this has been configured, an + Add Block button will appear where content can then be added to the page. By default, a newly created landing page will have one default one-column section and an option to add additional sections above.
To add a new section:
- Click +Add section
- An option slider will appear on the right
- Select from the One column, Two column, or Three column layout options
- Select the Column widths if needed
- 3-column configuration can be
- 33%/34%/33% OR,
- 25%/50%/25%
- 3-column configuration can be
- Administrative label - add a label to appear in the top left corner of the section, this is only visible when in this layout builder viewer (this will not be visible to users/patrons)
- Click Add section
- Select the Column widths if needed
- Select from the One column, Two column, or Three column layout options
- An option slider will appear on the right
- Click Save layout, located at the top of the page (just below the page title)

- This can be left as is and displayed on the top left of the content
- This can be overwritten with a new value, just note this will not change the original title when viewing this content in the Dashboard
- Do not display the heading by clicking the eyeball icon to the right
- Helper Text, enter a brief description if you wish to provide help or more context on how users/patrons can use this content
- Note: by default, this will be hidden if the eyeball icon is clicked to hide the heading
- Subheading, if necessary, add a subheading
- Additional Settings
- Depending on the content being added, additional fields and settings may appear below. For example, when adding a slider, options will appear to chose the style of slider (large or mini), as well as its layout, and settings to control the slider appearance and operation
- Click Add Block to add the block to the section
- Scroll to and click the content type to add
- An option slider will appear on the right
