Through the use of the Bookings feature, you can enable your patrons and users to make the most of your facility. This feature allows you to create a list of the rooms in your facility, you can provide detailed descriptions of the spaces, list amenities, and customize the booking form that patrons/users can fill out to request a booking.
Stacks provides 2 pre-built pages which you can utilize to give your users/patrons access to this booking information. The rooms list view provides a list of the spaces with easy access to the details and amenities described earlier; the availability view displays a grid with the up to date availability of each space. From both pages, users/patrons can access the booking form to submit their requests.
Different administrative roles can be assigned to staff users to manage this feature, including the ability to be able to review booking requests and choose to either approve or deny them as needed. These users also have the ability to configure settings associated with the bookings, including:
- Create and manage rooms
- Configure rules associated with allowable booking times
- Customize email notifications associated with room booking requests
- Manage room bookings
- And more
