Whether its updating the page title, editing the content, or changing the URL alias, edits can be made pages at any time by users with the appropriate permissions.
Editing Pages
- From the Dashboard, click the Pages tile
- Locate the page by:
- Browsing the list; OR
- Searching the list by name
- Once the page has been found, under the Operations column click Edit
- In the window that opens, make the required changes

- In the window that opens, make the required changes
- Click Save to save your changes
Tip! An alternate way to get to the edit window for a page is to first navigate to the page on your Stacks site. If you are logged in with an administrative user account, you will see a series of tabs just below the main header; click the Edit tab, then follow steps 3 and 4 above to make your changes.
Deleting Pages
Only users with the Moderator or Administrator role can delete a page.
- Follow steps 1 and 2 (above) to locate the page to delete
- Once found, under the Operations column, click the drop-down arrow then click Delete
- A confirmation window will appear
- Click Delete to continue with deleting the page
- Click Cancel to cancel deletion and return to the list of pages
- A confirmation window will appear
- Once found, under the Operations column, click the drop-down arrow then click Delete
Tip! An alternate way to get to the delete the page is to first navigate to the page on your Stacks site. If you are logged in with an administrator or moderator user account, you will see a series of tabs just below the main header; click the Delete tab, then follow the prompts to delete the page.
