Whether its updating the page title, editing the content, or changing the URL alias, edits can be made pages at any time by users with the appropriate permissions.
Editing Pages
Users with the Contributor or Editor role can only edit the pages they have created; whereas, users with the Moderator or Administrator role can edit any page.
- From the Dashboard, click the Pages tile
- Locate the page by:
- Browsing the list; OR
- Searching the list by name
- Once found, under the Operations column click Edit
- Make the required changes, including modifying the Publishing workflow settings, if needed
- Click Save to save your changes
Alternatively, you can navigate to the page on your Stacks site, when logged in with an administrative user account, you will see a series of tabs near the top of the page; click the Edit tab, make your changes and click Save.
Deleting Pages
Only users with the Moderator or Administrator role can delete a page.
- Follow steps 1 and 2 (above) to locate the page to delete
- Once found, under the Operations column, click the drop-down arrow then click Delete
- A confirmation window will appear
- Click Delete to continue with deleting the page
- Click Cancel to cancel deletion and return to the list of pages
- A confirmation window will appear
- Once found, under the Operations column, click the drop-down arrow then click Delete
Alternatively, you can navigate to the page on your Stacks site, when logged in with the appropriate administrative user account, you will see a series of tabs near the top of the page; click the Delete tab, then follow the confirmation prompts to delete the page.
