OpenID Connect

This method is selected when using SAML based SSO systems including OpenAthens and Microsoft Entra ID (Formally Azure Active Directory) using the OpenID connect technology. Contact the Stacks Support team to configure OpenID connect.

Enabling OpenID Connect Authentication

1. Please contact your EBSCO representative for assistance with configuring your chosen Authentication method

Configuring OpenID Authentication Options

1. From the Dashboard, click Integrations, then click Authentication
2. In the Primary Authentication drop-down list, select OpenID Connect
3. Secondary Authentication
   1. Secondary allows you to connect with your ILS and provide your users with patron functionality
      1. It is important to note that in order for this feature to work the patron information within your ILS and your Directory must be an identical match
4.  Click Save Configuration, at the bottom of the screen
