Build 116 Release Notes – Stacks for Libraries

Fitch Connect ElasticSearch
This improved integration allows us to retrieve all records authorized by your Fitch API keys and index them in ElasticSearch to establish a seamless search integration between Stacks and Elasticsearch.
Content List Searching
We have improved the content list search experience so that it is more performative and better meets customer expectations.
Easy Forms added to Bookings
Bookings now allows administrators to link custom Easy Forms to the Booking form to collect additional information from patrons during the booking request process.
All Day Events
We have added functionality to the Events feature that allow administrators to Create an All Day event that eliminates the need to enter a specific start or end time.
New Calendar Views
We’ve improved the User Interface by separating the List view and Calendar view into different pages. This change significantly enhances performance.

Midnight for Locations & Hours
When the opening or closing time was set to midnight, it incorrectly displayed as 11:00 PM when using a 12-hour clock format. This issue has now been resolved.
Easy Forms Email Addresses
When the same email address was used for both the site email and the email destination, messages were not sent, and an error message was displayed. This issue has been fixed, allowing emails to be sent even when the same address is used for both the ‘to’ and ‘from’ fields.
Feed Counts showing as '0'

The search result count on some feeds always displayed as ‘0 results found for {query term}’. This behavior has been corrected, and an accurate count of feeds is now properly displayed.
Using non-alphanumeric characters in Outbound Search
Outbound searches were not being correctly URL-encoded so we’ve made changes to improve the handling of non-alphanumeric characters, resulting in more complete search queries.

Collections content listings Search using non-alphanumeric characters
Collection items containing non-alphanumeric characters may not have appeared in search results when the search terms matched the exact value of the collection item. We’ve made changes to ensure that results now return as expected.

Anonymous Users couldn't create bookings from Room Detail view
Anonymous users reported issues accessing the booking form, being prompted to log in even when the setting to allow anonymous booking was enabled. We’ve corrected this behavior, and users will no longer be prompted to log in when anonymous booking is applicable

Event Filter Counts do not match

We identified an issue causing filter counts to display inaccurately and inconsistently between the calendar and events list views. This has now been corrected.
Empty Filter Lists on Calendars
Filters not associated with an event were appearing in the filter list on the Calendar view. We have addressed this issue so that any non-applicable filters are now hidden, helping to eliminate user confusion.

Mobile View Scrolling
Adjustments have been made to the mobile view to eliminate a need for excessive scrolling.
