The primary search bar is one of the most prominent and important features of your Stacks site. You can enable different experiences that allow your users/patrons to select their desired search which could include a variety of integrated services such as the EBSCO Discovery Service, external catalogues, and a Stacks website search.
Utilizing our Bento feature, you can present search results from multiple sources in custom boxes that allow for precise filtering based on subjects, source types, and content providers.
If your users/patrons have the ability to log into your Stacks site, they can save searches to a 'Saved List' which can be referenced from their 'My Account' page.
Setting up searches can be a multi-faceted approach, some of the following articles in this section of the guide will walk you through:
- Search Settings
