Should the need arise, administrators have the ability to both edit and delete bento pages (and custom bentos) as needed. Edits could include changing the configuration of the content blocks, such as the heading, bento type, and displayed results. Other edit options could include moving blocks to change the order of appearance, as well as removing blocks you no longer wish to make.
Locate the Bento Page
- From the Dashboard, click the Search Configuration tile, then Bento tile
- Click the Bento Pages tile (or tab near the top of the page)
- Find the bento page by:
- Browsing the list; OR
- Searching the list by label
Editing Bento Pages and Blocks
Editing a Bento Page
This section explains how to edit the appearance of your Bento search result page; this can include changing the page title or body (description), as well as, renaming blocks, moving blocks around the page, or removing blocks from the page.
- Follow steps 1 through 3 from the section above
- Once found, under the Operations column
- Click Edit
- Title, click into the field and change the name if needed
- Body, click into the field to add or edit the existing page description, see the WYSIWYG Editor article for more information on this field's functionality
- To edit the page's layout or content on the page
- Click the Layout tab near the top of the screen
- Navigate to the block to edit, when hovering over the block click the pencil icon, then click Configure

Heading
- Show/hide the heading by clicking the eyeball icon to the right
- If the heading is displayed, this can be edited if the name needs to change
- Helper text, add or edit the helper text as needed
- Click Save Bento Block when finished

- Navigate to the block to edit, when hovering over the block click the pencil icon, then click Configure
- Click the Layout tab near the top of the screen
- To move or remove blocks from the page
- Navigate to the block
- To move the block, click and drag the block to a new location
- To delete the block, click the pencil icon, then click Remove and follow the prompt to confirm the removal of the block
- Click Save Layout near the top of the page to save your changes
- Navigate to the block
- Click Edit
Editing a Bento Block
If you need to edit the individual bento blocks to add or change how the content is filtered, this can be done as well from a separate area.
- From the Dashboard, click the Search Configuration tile, then Bento tile
- Click the Custom Bentos tile, then the Custom EDS Bentos tile
- Scroll to the the Bento you wish the edit, then click Edit on the far right
- Label, click in to the field to change the label if needed

Facet Filters, allow you to "pre-filter" the search results that will be displayed in the block(s) that are added to the bento page; this can be by source, content provider, and/or by subject. Scroll to the appropriate facet filter and either add or remove existing filters as needed

- Search Facets, enter a name for the source type you are searching
- Click Search
- From the returned results, select the value(s) to search
- To remove
- Uncheck the Applied Source Type Facets box beside each facet type to remove

- Search Facets, enter a name for the content provider you are searching
- Click Search
- From the returned results, select the value(s) to search

- Click Search
- From the returned results, select the value(s) to search

- Click Save
Deleting Bento Pages
If you wish to delete an entire bento page
- Follow steps 1-3 in the Locate the Bento Page section above
- Once found, under the Operations column
- Click the drop-down arrow, then click Delete
- A confirmation window will appear
- Click Delete to continue with deleting the bento
- Click Cancel to cancel the deletion and return to the list of bentos
- Click the drop-down arrow, then click Delete
