Administrators may have a need to edit easy forms for a number of different reasons, whether this is to add fields to a newly created form, or to update an existing form by adding, removing or rearranging elements.
Editing an Easy Form
- From the Dashboard, click Easy Forms
- Find the form by either
- Browsing the list; OR
- Searching the form by name
- Once found, under the Operations column, click Build
From the form's build page you can Add, Edit, Delete, or Rearrange the elements and pages added to the form
- Add new elements or pages
- See the add an element or page sections in the Create an Easy Form article
- Edit existing elements or pages
- Find the element or page from the list then click Edit under the Operations column
- Make the necessary changes, see Advanced Setting for Elements for information on setting conditions
- Click Save
- Find the element or page from the list then click Edit under the Operations column
- Delete elements or pages
- Find the element or page from the list then click the drop-down arrow under the Operations column, then click Delete
- A confirmation window will open
- Click Delete to continue with deleting
- Click Cancel to cancel the deletion
- A confirmation window will open
- Find the element or page from the list then click the drop-down arrow under the Operations column, then click Delete
- Rearrange the order of appearance, as well as what page fields appear on
- Click and drag the arrows icon to the left of the element or page, then drag it up/down the list as needed
- If moving a field to a different page, ensure the field is also dragged to the right so it appears indented under the new page
- Click and drag the arrows icon to the left of the element or page, then drag it up/down the list as needed
- Save the changes to the form by clicking Save on the form's build page
Deleting an Easy Form
- From the Dashboard, click Easy Forms
- Find the form by either
- Browsing the list; OR
- Search the form name in the search field
- Once found, under the Operations column, click the drop-down arrow, then click Delete
- A confirmation will appear
- To continue with deletion, check the 'Yes, I want to delete the <form name> webform'
- Click Delete
- To cancel the deletion and keep the form
- Click Cancel
- A confirmation will appear
