On July 11, 2023, we launched Build 100 for all Stacks 4.0 websites, with several fixes to enrich the Stacks experience. This update actively incorporates valuable user feedback and strongly emphasizes bolstering the stability, performance, and functionality of Stacks.
Improvements
- Resource Flows display more images
We've enhanced the presentation of resource flows by optimizing space utilization. This improvement involves displaying a greater number of images and minimizing unused whitespace, resulting in a more efficient use of space. - Improved RSS Feed search logic
We've refined the search operators for the RSS Feed to provide search results that are both more consistent and aligned with user expectations. - Removed 'Sort By' option on RSS Feeds list view
We've eliminated the 'Sort By' feature from the RSS feed list view. This feature had been deactivated before, but its visibility was causing potential confusion among users regarding its functionality.
Fixes
- Overdrive blocks on the My Account Page
When attempting to access "My Items" or "Your Holds" by clicking on the "View All Your Items" link within the relevant section of the 'My Account' page, users were redirected to a different screen that didn't display the accurate items. We have resolved this issue. - Self-Registration settings
We have addressed a problem where self-registration settings were not being followed even when self-registration was disabled. This unintended behavior could have allowed new users to create patron accounts. Please note that this issue did not pose any security risk to Stacks sites or data.
