Once your team has created one or more research guides, you can provide your sites's users/patrons access to them in a few different ways; this can include through menu links, links in other Stacks features, or as a content block on a landing page.
Menu Links
Stacks users with the Moderator or the Administrator role can add links to the research guides through your menus.
- From the Dashboard, click the Menus tile
- Click the List Links button to the right of the Main Menu option
- Click the +Add Link button
- Menu link title, enter a name for the link that will appear in the menu

Link, enter the path to the page you wish to direct users to
- Add /research-guides to direct users to the default Stacks page that lists all published research guides; OR
- Add the URL alias to direct users to a specific research guide
- Enabled, check this box to enable visibility to the link in the menu
- Description, if needed, add a brief description that will be visible when a user hovers over the menu link
- Show as expanded, if the link has child links listed under it, checking this box will expand and display those links
- Language, if applicable, select the appropriate language

Parent Link
- Select <Main Menu>, to add this link in the main menu
- Select <Top Menu>, to add this link in the top menu
- Select any other link option to add this as a child link under another link

Weight
- Enter a numeric value to determine the link positioning in the menu; OR
- After saving, from the list link page, click and drag the 4-way arrow beside the menu links to re-order as needed
- Click Save when finished
Other Stacks Features
Links to research guides can be added through other Stacks features like Callouts or Sliders as example. In these scenarios, users with the appropriate permissions to create or edit those feature types can add the path to the research guide content in the appropriate link or URL field.
- Add the /research-guides path to direct people to the default Stacks page listing all published research guides
- Add the path from the URL alias to direct people to a specific research guide

Adding to a Landing Page
Research guides can also be added a block of content on your homepage or another landing page, by users with the Moderator or Administrator role. For more information on this, please see the article Adding and Editing Content on Landing Pages.
When adding research guide content the options will include
- Adding a selected Research Guide
- Adding Related Research Guide block, if applicable
- Adding a Research Guide Tab block
