When enabled, the print view feature will allow staff and patrons the ability to print a formatted PDF version of a resource flow.
Setting-up the Printable View
Enabling the printable view is a 2-step process, first, the feature must be enabled in the site configuration, then the settings associated with the view need to be configured on the resource flow.
Enabling the Printable View
To enable this feature:
- From the Dashboard, click the System Configuration tile
- Click the Site Configuration tile, from the tabbed menu on the left, scroll to and click Slider Settings
- Under the Print View section
- Enable Print View, when checked, will enable the feature
- Click Save Configuration at the bottom of the screen when finished
Configuring the Printable View
Once enabled, the settings for the printable view can be configured for the desired resource flow.
Note: these settings are configured on existing resource flows, administrators will not have access to configure these settings on the creation of new resource flows.
To configure the settings
- From the Dashboard, click the Resource Flows tile
- Find the desired resource flow by
- Browse the list; OR
- Search the list by the resource flow title
- Once found, under the Operations column, click the Edit button
- Click the Settings tab near the top of the screen, then expand the Print View section

- Resource Flow Title, when checked will include the resource flow title in the print
- Borders, when checked, this will add a border around each item in the print

Layout, select the appropriate option to render the print in a grid view or list view

- Note: the number of boxes and images will scale in relation to the number of fields enabled

Resources, check the box(es) indicating which fields should be included in the print, these include

Image
- A generic default image will appear in the print if there is no image added to the resource
- Title
- Author
- Link
- ISBN
- UPC
- bibID

- Click Save when finished
