For customers with a Scopus integration, administrators have the ability to also configure a feed based on inbound Scopus search results. This article will outline the steps to:
- Configure the Scopus integration
- Enable Scopus searching
- Create an RSS Feed
Configuring the Scopus Integration
- From the Dashboard, click the Integrations tile
- Click the Search tile, then scroll to and click the Scopus tile
- API Key, add your Scopus API key
- Institutional Token, if necessary, add your Scopus institutional token
- Enable Scopus RSS Feeds, check this box to turn on the ability to create RSS Feeds
- Click Save when finished
Enabling Scopus Searching
- From the Dashboard, click the Search Configuration tile
- Click the Settings tile
- Scroll down to the Scopus option, then check the Enable box to the left
- Click Save when finished
Create an RSS Feed
There are two ways feeds can be created here, either from a feeds button or from push to Stacks feeds.
Feeds Button
- Complete a Scopus search
- Click the RSS icon
at the top of the search results
- The RSS XML will open in a new tab
Push to Stacks Feeds
- Complete a Scopus search
- Click the
icon at the top of the search results
- You will automatically be taken to the Create a new feed form
- Title, by default will be 'Scopus <queried term>'
- For example: 'Scopus Heart'
- Feed URL, will be automatically populated with the feed link
- Click Save and Import when finished
- Title, by default will be 'Scopus <queried term>'
