The footer is a highly visible component of your Stacks site, as such, it is also very configurable. The footer dashboard allows you to configure the appearance of the footer not only for the branding of your site, but also provide your site's visitors with access to additional information like contact information, social media access, and other custom content you may want them to see and access.

Accessing the footer dashboard
To access the footer dashboard:
- From the Dashboard, click the System Configuration tile
- Click the Footer tile
The options that can be configured are listed in the panel on the left side of the screen, click each option and configure the settings as needed (described below).
Branding
The branding section is where you can configure common branding elements to appear in your footer, these can include: a title, site/organization slogan, and logo.
- Click the Branding option from the menu on the left

Display Title / Branding Title
- Check the box to enabled/disable this option
- Enter a title in the Branding Title field to be displayed in the footer

Display Slogan / Slogan
- Check the box to enabled/disable this option
- Enter a value in the Slogan field to be displayed in the footer

Display Logo / Upload Logo / Logo
- Check the box to enabled/disable this option
- Click Choose file to select and upload a logo to be displayed in the footer; or
- Maximum file size is 64MB
- For externally hosted images, add the URL to the Logo field
- Note: this will be overridden if an image has been uploaded as described above

Logo Width
- Set the width of the logo in pixels (px)
- Note: if left empty, the default width is 120px
- Set the width of the logo in pixels (px)

Display Title / Branding Title
- Click Save configuration before moving on to the next footer option
Contact Information
Providing contact information for your users/patrons can be crucial pieces of information that you need to make available. Content added to the fields in this section will then appear in the footer after saving.
- Click the Contact Information option from the menu on the left

Contact Title / Display Title
- Enter a title to appear above your contact information
- 'Contact Us' is the default text that is used for the title
- Check the Display Title box to enable or disable the appearance of the title
- This option is disabled by default
- Enter a title to appear above your contact information

Display Content (Remaining fields)
- Check the Display Content box to display the information that can be entered into any of the fields listed below:

Email,Staff Directory URL, Directions URL, Dropbox Locations URL, Newsletter URL, Phone Numbers, and Fax Number
- Tip! Fields left blank will not be displayed

- Click Save configuration before moving on to the next footer option
Social Connect Info
This section allows you to add links to social media accounts associated with your organization. Up to date social media icons are already embedded in Stacks, when any of the fields listed in this section are populated with a link to your account, the associated icon will appear in the footer (upon saving).
- Click the Social Connect Info option from the menu on the left

Social Connect Title / Display Title
- Enter a title to appear above your social connect information
- Note: 'Follow Us' is the default text that is used for the title
- Enter a title to appear above your social connect information

Social Media URL Fields
- Add your organization's social media URL in the appropriate field
- Fields left blank will not display an icon
- Add your organization's social media URL in the appropriate field

Social Connect Title / Display Title
- Click Save configuration before moving on to the next footer option
Custom Content
The Custom Content section is used to manage a variety of custom content that you want to display in your footer. Some common examples could include: copyright, policy, or privacy information, or additional links to content or other related websites.
The body field in this area does support third-party widget code, if you plan to add something like a "contact us" widget.

- Add a title in the Custom content title field
- Check the Display Title box to enable or disable the appearance of the title

- Enter the content that you wish to appear in the footer of your site

Custom Links
Lastly, in the custom links section, you can add up to 4 links that could be displayed in the footer. This is in addition to the social media links, which appear as icons and any links you may add in the custom content section.

- Add a title in the Custom Link Title field
- Check the Display Title box to enable or disable the appearance of the title

Custom Link 1
- Click the drop-down arrow to expand the section
- Custom Link Title, this will be the visible text for the link

URL, enter or paste the URL for the link
- For internal links, use the relative URL (path)
- For external links, be sure to use the absolute (full) URL
- Repeat as needed for Custom Links 2 through 4
- Click the drop-down arrow to expand the section
