With the anti spam configuration, you can configure the settings for reCaptcha and set a default challenge type for all forms. These settings can help reduce the amount of spam submissions from easy forms that are publicly available to your users/patrons.
Configuring Anti Spam Settings
To configure the anti spam settings:
- Log into your site as an administrator, then click the Dashboard button
- Click the System Configuration tile, then click the Site Configuration tile
- Click Anti Spam from the menu tabs on the left

- Expand the reCaptcha section

General Settings
- Site key, enter the supplied site key from your reCaptcha registration
- Secret key, enter the supplied secret key from your reCaptcha registration
- Local domain name validation, this checks the host name on your server when verifying a solution. ONLY check this if the "Verify the origin of the reCaptcha solutions" is unchecked for your key pair
- Use reCaptcha globally, enable this in instances where google is not accessible (eg. China)
- Click Save Configuration when finished
Catcha Settings
- Expand the Captcha Settings section

Form Protection
- Default challenge type, select a default challenge type, this can be overridden on individual forms
- Click Save Configuration when finished
